It is my pleasure to invite your esteemed university to participate in our 2016 UI GreenMetric World University Ranking on Sustainability.<\/p>\n
Being a member of IREG, UI GreenMetric World University Ranking has ranked universities worldwide according to six indicators: setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste\u00a0management, water, and transportation, and education for the past 6 years. The ranking itself was launched in 2010 and ranked 407 universities from 65 countries around the world in 2015 (http:\/\/greenmetric.ui.ac.id\/ranking\/year\/2015<\/a>). We have witnessed an increasing motivation to improve university infrastructure and action towards sustainable campus worldwide. This year the main theme is \u2018From policy to Action\u2019 in which our questionnaire looks in more details efforts and programs to improve sustainability on campus.<\/p>\n In general, the ranking is an important initiative to promote sustainability in higher education institutions globally. You can share your experience and best practices in the issues of sustainability to other universities. You can also measure your sustainability policy and compare it with other institutions on the ranking. Most importantly, this ranking can serve as a platform for future cooperation among higher education institutions.<\/p>\n Participating in UI GreenMetric is simple as the submission is done on line. There is no fee for participating.
